Itinerary

Join us on this exciting journey that will lead you to explore the Archaeological Zone of Bonampak, the waterfalls of Corcho Negro, and the walk in the Lacandon Jungle. 

Day 1: 

The day starts early, at 5:30 am, with the departure from the hotel in Palenque. At 7:30 am, we will stop to enjoy breakfast before heading to the mysterious archaeological zone of Bonampak. Here, amidst Mayan murals, you will explore for 1.5 to 2 hours, immersing yourself in the cultural richness of the ancient civilization.

The next stop takes us deep into the jungle, where you will visit the waterfalls of Corcho Negro and the sacred Mayan cenote, idyllic places for a refreshing swim. The day culminates at cozy tourist cabins, where you will spend the night immersed in the calm of nature.

Day 2: 

The morning of the second day begins with a delicious breakfast, followed by an exciting 4-hour guided hike in the jungle led by a Lacandon. You will explore the rich local flora and fauna, then you will visit the waterfalls, and you will have time to immerse yourself in one of them for a unique experience. You will also discover the enigmatic ruins of Lacanja, the lost city of the Mayans.

After the activities, a well-deserved meal awaits us before we embark on the return to the city of Palenque, where we arrive at the hotel around 8:00 pm. This day of exploration and discovery concludes, leaving you with the satisfaction of having lived an unforgettable experience in the heart of the Lacandon jungle and Mayan history.
