Beginning of the Adventure

After a delicious breakfast at 8:15 am, we begin our fascinating journey towards the depths of the Lacandon Jungle. During the trip, we will be accompanied by a specialized guide who will provide us with interesting information about the biodiversity and culture of the region. At 9:30 am, we arrive at the Lacandon community of Lacanja Chansayab, where we will have the opportunity to interact with the local inhabitants and learn about their lifestyle in harmony with nature.

Rafting: An Unforgettable Experience

At 10:00 am, we prepare for the exciting rafting adventure. Equipped with life jackets and under the supervision of experienced guides, we will descend the Lacanja River for approximately 2 hours. Along the way, we will enjoy beautiful jungle landscapes, observe exotic birds, and, if we are lucky, spot wild animals in their natural habitat.

Jungle Exploration: A Sensory Walk

After the descent, it will be time to discover the lush flora and fauna of the jungle. At 12:30 pm, a Lacandon guide will take us on a 2-hour hike through hidden trails, explaining the medicinal properties of plants and the importance of conservation. Additionally, we will enjoy a refreshing swim in one of the magical waterfalls, revitalizing ourselves in its crystal-clear waters.

Culture and History: Discovering Bonampak

At 3:00 pm, we will visit the impressive archaeological site of Bonampak, known for its amazing stelae and murals that narrate the life of the ancient Maya civilization. Our guide will share incredible stories about the history and legacy of this site, which was once a prosperous cultural center.

Lunch and Rest Time

At 5:00 pm, we will return to the town to enjoy a delicious lunch (included) at a local restaurant where we will try traditional dishes from the region. After the meal, we will have free time to rest and reflect on the experiences lived during the day.

End of the Adventure

Finally, around 8:00 pm, we will begin our return to Palenque, arriving at your hotel to conclude this unforgettable experience in the Lacandon Jungle.
